Wedding of Abigail and Yoon
Our Story
Where We Began
We met in Melbourne in 2012 when we were both young, immature and bold. We went on trips to Geelong, ate at restaurants we could not afford, got into trouble, but most of all, loved the company of one another. Shortly after our 100th day together, Abigail's family moved to Canberra.
We endured long-distance relationship struggles for two years before we were reunited in 2015. I gained the approval of my parents to live in Canberra when I told them that I wished to pursue a degree from the Australian National University - where Abigail was 'coincidentally' attending.
We spent our days in the bliss during our undergraduate years. We worked at the same café; planned our university timetables together; went on trips to Thailand and Japan, hundreds of late-night Maccas runs, and purposeless Costco trips; and last but not least, adopted our baby girl (dog) - Ghibli.
We gradually solidified our meanings for each other, faced many challenges and overcame them. Most of all, we encouraged and pushed each other to become better versions of ourselves every day constantly.
We know that life is often not fair, and we will be tested many times in our lives.
However, we are able to live in the comforting knowledge that no matter how difficult it becomes, we will always be there to raise one another.
We now humbly ask you to come, drink, dance and celebrate with us at this joyful event where we begin the new chapter of our lives as the new Mr and Mrs!
Sincerely,
Yoon & Abigail
